HOW TO GET TO CINQUE TERRE AND AROUND ONCE YOU’RE THERE?
The closest airports are Milan (2.5 hours by train), Florence (3 hours by train) and Rome (3.5 – 4.5 hours by train). You can get to the Cinque Terre by train, bus or car. The five villages are connected by a train, hiking trails and roads, so you can catch the train, hike or drive. But parking in some of the towns is limited to residents and the roads are narrow and daunting, so if you’re going to drive there, try parking and leaving your car at one end or the other.
