These are Krista’s tips from her 6 day trip to Porto, Douro Valley and the Algarve in Portugal. Krista went with her other half to experience the culture in Porto and Douro Valley and to relax on the beach in the Algarve. The average price of the hotels was 225 euros and the average entree at the restaurants was 20 euros.
Any hotels, restaurants or activities especially awesome?
The Yeatman Hotel in Porto was our favorite hotel and also an amazing spot for sunset view drinks. The price for cheese and wine was worth the view!
Dislikes/things you would have done differently?
I would have made dinner reservations in advance – as most of the popular restaurants were booked up.
If you had one more day? One less day?
If I had one more day, I would spend it exploring more vineyards in the Douro Valley. There is so much to see and explore there!
